The Energise Barnsley Board is very pleased with the
investment response to the Series II Solar Bond on the Ethex platform.
The board has decided to extend the offer for the period
covering COP26 and close it on the 15th November 2021. This will not affect any
proposed interest payments in the Series II bonds, as these will accrue from
the 29th October and all applications to date will be honoured in full.
The reason for extending the offer period is to try and
reach our maximum target amount of £1.75 million in order that our senior
lender, Charity Bank, is refinanced in full at the first attempt.
