This pioneering community group manages a community-owned woodland in Glengarry in the Scottish Highlands and they are raising finance to complete the construction of a development of up to 6 off-grid forest cabins and a shared amenity building to provide an exciting new eco-tourism destination in the area.
 Glengarry Forest Cabins will be a sustainably built and managed development that will become a community-owned social enterprise. It will help to strengthen the fragile local economy, while income from the enterprise will fund ongoing economic, social and environmental projects for the local community, including woodland eco-initiatives, affordable housing and job creation in the area. During the online chat, Tom gives us some background to the project, and discuss what it aims to achieve and what it will mean for the local community and environment. The panel also answers questions from the audience in what is sure to be an engaging chat.
