Join Ethex for a cuppa and a chat with two extraordinary community-driven organisations who are currently raising finance on our platform - Charge My Street and Energy Garden.
With grassroots climate action very much on the public agenda, Ethex is delighted to bring people a range of investment opportunities to support impactful organisations, taking tangible steps to tackle the climate crisis. In this webinar, we will introduce you to two of them, representing the sustainable transport and renewable energy sectors.
We will be chatting to Daniel Heery from Charge My Street who have launched their second investment raise with Ethex to give more people access to on-street community-owned Electric Vehicle charging. Charge My Street are tackling the problem of the lack of electric vehicle (EV) charging points in residential areas, helping more people to choose EVs, creating a positive effect on society and the planet.
Daniel will be joined by Agamemnon Otero from Community benefit Society, Energy Garden who are raising finance through Ethex to fund a new community-owned solar installation that during its lifetime will create clean energy that’s equivalent to powering 992 UK homes for one year or taking 510 UK cars off the road for one year. The profits from the sale of the energy will help them create and maintain more energy gardens that brighten up grey transport corridors, produce food, improve urban biodiversity and make local people happier and healthier!
During our chat we’ll learn more about the incredible things these organisations have already achieved, how each operates and the vital role of community action in the fight against climate change and how investor funding can help it succeed. You will have the opportunity to put your questions to the panel.
