Both these inspiring organisations are currently listed on the Ethex platform, and as well as hearing about the positive social impact both businesses have, we’ll discuss the issues in society that they are addressing and learn ways that we can all support their great work while targeting a financial return. Signalise is a cooperative that aims to revolutionise the booking of British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters by enabling the development of an innovative online system.

Signalise is currently raising funds via a share offer on Ethex to help them launch their pioneering digital platform for booking BSL interpreters for meetings and appointments where Deaf People are present. As the cooperative is owned and operated by Deaf People and interpreters, this puts them at the heart of the system, putting the power back into their hands and ensuring quality service for users and fair pay for interpreters.

MindforYou provide high-quality recreational services for people living with dementia and their families. From luxury, supported holiday experiences to digital sessions and activity packs, the team at MindforYou are dedicated to proving that a diagnosis of dementia doesn’t mean fun is a thing of the past!

MindforYou has recently launched a share offer on Ethex to raise funds to expand their services to help them reach more people. Their overall aim is to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their families and unpaid carers. Their luxury holidays and bespoke online events are designed to combat the social isolation experienced by people with a diagnosis of dementia and offer them a dignified, fund and worry-free break.

Representatives of both organisations will be talking about the values they stand for, the impact they have achieved so far and the solutions they deliver to people whose lives are affected by the need for sign language interpreters or dementia. We will learn how their innovative approaches can help to revolutionise their respective sectors and how, with the right kind of financing, they can scale to deliver their visions to improve the lives of more people.
